Income Tax Deletes Rs 25.79 Crore Tax Demand Raised Against Uniparts India Ltd for AY 2024-25

Uniparts India Ltd informed BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited on 17 April 2026 that a tax demand of Rs 25,79,86,410 has already been determined against the company by the Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Circle 25(1), New Delhi, under Section 154 read with Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, has been abolished. The company has provided this information to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.

An assessment order was passed against the company for the assessment year 2024-25, on the basis of which a tax demand of Rs 25,79,86,410 was fixed on the company. After this, the said order was reviewed by the tax authority and a new order was passed after making the necessary rectification.
