Custom Department Drops Rs. 6.37 Cr IGST Demand against Carraro India
Carraro India Limited informed the stock exchanges that the Commissioner of Customs, Pune, passed an order in the company’s favour on 7 May 2026.
Earlier, the company had received a notice in September 2025 asking it to pay around Rs 6.37 crore as IGST.
After the company submitted its reply and explanations, the Customs authority decided to cancel the entire demand and gave full relief to the company.
This decision reduces the company’s possible financial liability and improves its financial position.
